Barrie Benson

Barrie Benson is a Charlotte based interior designer best known for juxtaposing modern with traditional in her signature interiors. She transforms residences like her own 1950's ranch with traditional pieces to create an interesting collection of periods, rooms and moods. Barrie is also known for giving architecturally traditional homes a dash of youthful energy and color with her fresh take on European and American 20th century furniture, art and collections.

Examples of her work can be found in Domino Magazine, InStyle, The New York Times, and Charlotte Home and Garden. Barrie was also profiled in Garden & Gun Magazine's article "SOUTHERN WOMEN: A new Generation of Women Who Are Redefining the South".

Katherine Hable Sweeney & Susan Hable Smith

Texan sisters Susan and Katharine Hable founded the NYC-based textiles company Hable Construction in 1999. Katharine's professional sales experience working at ...Kate Spade and Polo Ralph Lauren combined with Susan's fine art background resulted in a business partnership creating artfully distinctive and utilitarian products for everyday living.

Hable Construction products fuse practicality, sophistication, and timelessness into their line of home and personal accessories. A Hable print is marked by bold, graphic patterns of abstracted, nature-inspired motifs, famous for a kaleidoscope of bright and traditional hues. The handmade aesthetic and organic shapes are produced by Susan and Hungarian artisans who treat their work as a careful craft.

Liora Manne

Born in Israel, educated in the United States and now a true New Yorker, lifestyle products designer Liora Manné has been breaking the rules throughout her entire career. After graduating from Georgia State University with a degree in journalism and drama, Manné took a textile design class at North Carolina State University and never looked back. She earned a master’s degree in both textile design and textile engineering before moving to New York, where she first designed textiles for the fashion industry.

She soon found herself eager for a less traditional creative outlet and gravitated toward home fashions—rugs in particular. She founded her namesake company in 1990 and her bold, contemporary colors sparked a revolution in an industry dominated by tradition. Today, Manné’s lifestyle collection is featured around the world, including her cutting-edge Lamontage products, which can be found in institutions like Radio City Music Hall in New York, the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles and Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.

Alexa Hampton

Since Alexa Hampton took the reins of Mark Hampton, her father’s iconic firm, as owner and president in 1998, she has advanced its legacy of elegant, practical, classically based interiors for modern living – and extended its global reach. From New York City to Hangzhou, China, her project portfolio encompasses luxe, beautifully layered urban apartments, expansive town and country residences, private airplanes, and yachts.

Regularly named to Architectural Digest’s AD100, House Beautiful’s Top Designer list, and Elle Decor’s A-List, Hampton translates the classical principles of good design and decoration into some of today’s most elegant, enduring, and functional domestic landscapes.

In an ever-expanding portfolio of acclaimed products, Hampton provides smart, stylish, design-rich solutions for every aspect of the home. On-going Hampton-designed collections include furniture for Hickory Chair and more.

Jenn & Sarah

"We’re a small company led by twin sisters, Jenn and Sarah. We live on opposite sides of the U.S., but are otherwise inseparable.

Our point of view is simple: The bedroom is an inner sanctum, a place to live slowly, artfully, and deliberately. It’s where we connect with the most important people in our lives. We design every Sefte piece to nurture that connection and create a sanctuary of casual elegance. That means materials have to feel as luxurious as they look, blending a contemporary aesthetic with nostalgic styles, lush texture and calm, naturally muted tones.

And from day one, we’ve felt that production and a sense of place are just as crucial in imparting this feeling of connection. All Sefte pieces are handcrafted by artisan women in Peru and Vietnam. We’ve visited them again and again. We know their names and their children's’ names. We adore them, along with their incredible craftsmanship. They are our extended sisters in Sefte and inextricable from everything that’s soulful and true about our work. "

Charlotte Moss

During Charlotte Moss’ thirty year career as an interior designer, she has become a trusted voice on achieving a discerning elegance that is at the same time comfortable and informed. It was in 1985 that Charlotte left an executive position on Wall Street to follow her true passion and join the world of luxurious interiors. Soon after its founding, Charlotte Moss and Company, a home furnishings store and interior design firm on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, became an authority on lifestyle and home décor. Throughout her career, Charlotte has worked on interior design projects for private clients and has participated in numerous designer show houses.

While Charlotte draws her inspiration from her extensive travels, avid reading and the legacies of great women of style, she attributes her southern heritage as the most significant contributor to her own personal style.

Suzanne Kasler

Suzanne Kasler is inspired. As the principal of Atlanta-based Suzanne Kasler Interiors, she often asserts that “a room should be collected, not decorated.” Incorporating the personal collections of her clients with fine art and antiques, contemporary pieces and custom-designed furniture, Suzanne’s meaningful interiors straddle that rare middle ground between sophisticate and ingénue.

In the fall of 2009, Rizzoli published Suzanne’s first book, Inspired Interiors, featuring her “deft use of couture-like detailing, a keen sense of sublime color selections, and an aesthetic that seamlessly bridges American and European sensibilities.”

In 2008, Suzanne launched a line of furniture for Hickory Chair, along with a collection of lighting for Visual Comfort.

“Being able to work as a designer is a gift, an amazing opportunity to connect to people and design spaces that inspire them.”
