New at HM: Old Hickory Furniture

Hoff Miller is bringing rustic charm and modern lodge style to the Rocky Mountains with their new line, Old Hickory Furniture.

Since 1899, Old Hickory has been handcrafted in Central Indiana and is best known for furnishing State and National Park Lodges. They’ve recently partnered with designer Max Humphrey to debut The Lodge Collection, and we love how it ties in with Max’s Sunbrella fabric collection with Pindler.

Beyond our obsession with Max Humphrey's Lodge Collection, Old Hickory itself is pretty incredible. The longevity of both the company and their furniture is rare in the furniture and design world.

Old Hickory furniture is still handcrafted and made-to-order in much the same way as it was in the 1890s. Their furniture is a slice of American history that has played a major role in the home furnishings and hospitality industry.

1904 | Dining chairs for the Old Faithful Inn in Yellowstone. Old Hickory was chosen by architect Robert Reamer as the finishing touches on the iconic lodge. The original chairs are still in use today.

1914 | Old Hickory furnished the lobby and porches of Lewis Glacier Lodge in the newly formed Glacier National Park. The lodge would later be renamed Lake McDonald Lodge and still has Old Hickory furniture throughout the beautiful lodge.

With everything going on right now, we wanted to share some happy news with you. It's been hard to contain our excitement, but now we're able to make it official -- we've taken on two amazing, new (to us) outdoor brands!! Both have their own personalities and we are pinching ourselves that we get to bring them to you, our wonderfully talented clients. We'll have them in our Digital Showroom soon (and in our actual showroom, of course), but in the meantime, we'd like to introduce you to them. Patio season is almost here, and if you're like us, you've probably been enjoying every bit of outside time lately -- it's time to create you or your client's outdoor oasis.
